Her name was rising whose untimely passing splintered it. It is also the case with a talented, charismatic and young musician passes away too early people mourn the possibilities that she had yet to reach. The tragic death of Selena by a gunman triggered an outpouring of emotion in Latino communities, similar with the reaction to the deaths of Elvis Presley as well as John Lennon's.
